Doubs is a french river and in Les Brenets it forms the north border between Switzerland and France. And with the horological industry in this area, there used to be contraband with clock parts. So there were signs with stories of the past. In Saut du Doubs, the Doubs falls 27 m down a ridge. There are platform on the french and swiss side. There is a bridge right after the Le Saut-du-Doubs. So you can visit both side. From there I headed then back to Le Locle.
