Two week ago, when I did the 5 lakes hike, I saw, that there was a way to Weisstannental. And I thought, that would be a nice hike there. So... this time, I just took a one way trip up to Pizol Hütte and started the hike.
Including Hochwart, it was a 750 m ascend, and 2000 m descend. In Weisstannen Oberdorf you can catch a Bus, taking you back to Mels. But be aware, around September is the Alpabfahrt (That's when they drive down the cows from the alps), and the Bus services is suspended for quite a time, like today.
