Since middle of November it has been quite cold up here. And we've seen pictures, how Pontresinafall look liked. The big question was always the third pitch. Right or left... As long, the fall isn't frozen shut there, the water turns the right side to a vertical slush.
On the left side, we had enough solid ice to climb and to protect. The exit is a bit tricky, since the ice is still thin. We had to follow the thicker ice, and tried to avoid the very thin layers of ice.
