We are heading into Yoho Valley. There are several nice ice falls. We drove to Monarch Campground, where we parked the car. Then we skied in, which was much more comfortable, then with snowshoes. And this time, we had even a track leading to the start of the route. And more important, the Yoho river was pretty good frozen over.
