The winter is coming, and the ice is growing. With the cold temperatures there has to be some ice in Brunnital. And since I had to find out, how to get there by public transportation, I got up and caught the train. It is quite good accessible by train and bus. Only there is a 45 minutes layover in Flüelen. And there is really not much to do there. Only a small kiosk. But there was at least a warm waiting room.
Alternativ you can take the train to Altdorf, and walk (about 15 minutes) to Telldenkmal, or a catch a Bus. There are some coffees and bakeries.
