According the weatherforecast the strong winds should cease by 11. We were planning to head to the climbing crag to the east of Cassis. But when we arrived there, we found out, that the area was closed down, due to high winds...
Well, we headed then to Éperon Ouest 5c. Since the Col de la Gardiole is not anymore accesible by car, we started from Cassis. So, 2 hours hike.
A different approach would be from Col de la Gineste, and head there on foot to Col de la Gardiole. The approach time would be the same, but it's much less up and downs, and the rise is less steep.
