The planned tour was still in the snow, so we decided to climb Fritz u Franz im nüe Glanz 5a+. It's a new route in Mittagflue, close to Guttannen. The approach follows a good hiking path to the start of the route. Descend, either you rapell or you hike down. To hike down, you have to get up to the peak first. There is a cairn marking where you have to turn sharp to the right. The path down is sometimes quite steep. At the end you can rapell 4 x 20 m. But only the first belaystation and the last belaystation have two bolts. So, you could safely rapell 60 m, if you have a 60 m rope to a platform and from there a cable leads you to the last belaystation.
