The "Fantasy Card 2" provides 2 modes:
-
soft-focus (double exposure with one in-focus, one out-of-focus).
-
zoom-effect (focus shift during exposure).
Restrictions:
-
8000i/7000i supports only zoom-effect.
-
Cannot be used with AF Power Zoom 4-5.6/35-80.
-
Cannot be used with Program/Maxxum Flash 4000AF/2800AF/1800AF and Macro Flash 1200 AF.

Zoom-effect mode may not operate in some light levels. 9xi/7xi/700si will switch to soft-focus, 8000i/7000i cannot be released.
Selecting the Fantasy-Control Mode

Press the "Card Adj." Button.

Turn the front control dial to choose mode.
