Monte Garzo is favored because of it's long and ambitious multipitch routes. One of the famous is Alhambra. It's located pretty close to Ponte Brolla, which can be reached very good by train. After midday, the sun is hitting fully on the slab. On weekends, it can get very crowded. An early start is required to avoid the midday heat and the crowd. Spring or Fall would be the desired period. And be fit in climbing slab.
From the "Kunstschmied" leads a path up the mountain. Follow the "steimannli" (cairn), the path is well trodden.
