Jerzu is an other climbing area with a lot of potential. One of the new crag is Canyon Ulassài. It's close to the village Ulassài. And it's almost the whole day in the shade, great for hot days. Only in midday, the sun is hitting the rock. And you find routes from 5b to 7b. The protection is good, the routes interesting, and still a lot of potential. It's more technical since no overhanging stuff.

The church is good visible from the street, only it was not quite clear how to get there. The road up to Ulassài is very narrow and some of the italian drivers are crazy. From the church walk up the hill into the woods. Small signs showing the way to canyon. A big rock is barring the view into the canyon. You have to underneath it. But outside you have already routes and bolts.
